Australian company at the forefront of tidal energy site identification and development in Australia has secured tenure over its first Northern Territory site and has begun the approval process. The project will see the company begin the transition into a substantive renewable energy company. The company is currently seeking equity investor(s) to fund Stage 1, an initial 200MW development, of its Northern Territory tidal energy project. Future expansion of the project by an additional 256MW is available within the project site’s secured tenure in a subsequent stage. The company is presently engaging with project specific joint venture partners and identifying industry partners with the capabilities to support the installation, operation and maintenance of the site.
Equity funding required is $3Million to $5Million for Stage 1.
